Job Description

WhyMaker is seeking a Director of Sales & Marketing to lead our Sales & Marketing department and help drive the next stage of the company's growth. This is a leadership role for someone who can bring together strategy, market and customer insight, sales, marketing, people leadership, and day-to-day execution. You will be responsible for translating company growth goals into a clear sales and marketing strategy, building a healthy and measurable pipeline, strengthening our market positioning, and ensuring our sales and marketing efforts consistently contribute to revenue.

This is a player-coach role. You will lead and develop the team while remaining engaged with clients and strategic opportunities, but you will not carry a full individual territory or heavy prospecting quota.

You will work cross functionally to ensure that what we sell aligns with our capabilities, is delivered successfully, and creates a strong customer experience.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

The right person is both strategic and hands-on. You can see the big picture, but are also willing to roll up your sleeves and do the work yourself.

You take ownership of outcomes and are comfortable making data-driven decisions and adjusting when something isn't working. You are a strong communicator and collaborator who can build trust across departments while also holding people accountable. You know how to turn strategy into action and measurable results. Most importantly, you are excited by the opportunity to help a purpose-driven company build a predictable and scalable path to growth.
