Beam Break is a fun, hands-on way to start exploring concepts of acceleration, velocity, and movement using Hot Wheels Cars. Using infrared sensors to detect when your Hot Wheels Car breaks the beam while racing down a Hot Wheels track, users will learn the basics of using sensors in the physical world and doing calculations in code ? all while racing to the finish! This kit includes two lessons free and accessible on make.playpiper.com, look for the Beam Break and Car Race missions. The Rover is an add-on and REQUIRES a Piper Make Starter Expedition Kit with the Raspberry Pi Pico to get started (sold separately).
