Job Description
WhyMaker is seeking a full-time Product Sales Specialist to lead outreach, relationship-building, and revenue growth for our STEM product catalog. This role requires a blend of inside sales, field sales, product expertise, and education-focused communication.
You will conduct in-person meetings, host virtual demos, execute email campaigns, attend national/state conferences, and manage a high-activity pipeline across K–12 schools, districts, and agencies.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- 2+ years of K–12 sales, EdTech sales, curriculum sales, or equivalent
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Experience conducting in-person meetings and conference presentations
- CRM proficiency
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented work style
Preferred:
- Experience selling STEM or instructional materials
- Background presenting to district leadership
- Understanding of procurement, RFPs, or OGS processes
- Experience leading webinars or virtual product demos
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct outbound prospecting across districts, schools, and education agencies
- Execute email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, and virtual demo sessions
- Run webinars and product presentations
- Attend regional and national conferences
- Conduct in-person meetings with district leaders, principals, and program directors
- Deliver product demos and hands-on workshops
- Generate conference-driven qualified pipeline
- Become an expert in WhyMaker’s STEM products
- Recommend bundles and solutions based on instructional needs
- Own quarterly and annual revenue quotas
- Build proposals and product recommendations
- Manage all opportunities and activities in the CRM
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Operations, and Education teams

SALARY RANGE
- This is a W2.
- Full time
- Base Salary: $65,000- $75,000 depending on experience, with OTE: $80,000+
- Travel: 25%+ annually (conferences, client meetings, on-site demos)
